- Is the LED on the device showing solid green, and the device in the web application showing that it is online (not showing the lightning bolt next to the device ID)? Item 3 hereshows the location of the device ID in the equipment detail view, and the lightning bolt icon will appear next to this when the device is offline.
- If the device is offline no input changes from the machine will be recorded. The network problem that is keeping the device from connecting to the LCM2M servers will have to be corrected by the local IT service provide.
- If the 24 VDC input is being used on the device.
- Is pin 2 on the Caddis 24 VDC input connected the +24 VDC signal?
- Is pin 3 on the Caddis 24 volt input connected to ground?
- If the 120 VAC input is being used on the device.
- Is pin 1 on the Caddis 120 VAC input connected to the 120 VAC input signal?
- Is pin 2 on the Caddis 120 VAC input connected to the neutral for the 120 VAC circuit?
- If the 24 VDC input is being used on the Caddis device.
- If a digital multi-meter (DMM) is placed with the positive lead on pin 2 and the negative/ground lead on pin 3, is the signal high when the machine is running and low when it is idle/down?
- Is the device configured to properly read the signal the machine is sending to it? The Input Config item shown as item 2 here is where this is set. If in doubt about this setting, please contact LCM2M support for guidance.
