Usage in a kiosk environment


One key challenge in a kiosk environment is that the logged-in user is automatically logged out after 7 days, requiring user intervention to log in again. To address this inconvenience, we introduce a 'kiosk mode.' In this mode, the application automatically relogs the user at regular intervals, ensuring uninterrupted access. Kiosk mode also streamlines the user interface by removing certain elements, maximizing screen real estate for a more focused display of compelling data.


All that is needed to do to put the UI into kiosk mode is to append

?kiosk=1

to the end of the url. For example:


  • If your kiosk is running the UI for a piece of equipment with a url of
    https://app.lcm2m.com/e/58

    this would become

    https://app.lcm2m.com/e/58?kiosk=1
